El zoológico de Wassenaar es un antiguo zoológico, situado en la carretera nacional N44, que fue cerrado en 1985 debido a problemas de financiación.
El zoológico fue fundado en 1937 por el acaudalado importador de automóviles Piet Louwman, y continuado por Jan Louwman. Piet Louwman ya tenía en su casa en Wassenaar una colección de aves tropicales. La población del parque en sus primeros años consistía principalmente en aves, elefantes y tigres, pero pronto se amplió con una gran colección de antropoides, incluidos chimpancés y orangutanes. El zoológico también pudo adquirir animales del zoológico de La Haya que fue cerrado en 1943.
