El antiguo monasterio de los jesuitas es un complejo monástico en Kloosterweg 34-36 en Valkenburg, junto con el monasterio de San José construido en 1984. El monasterio fue construido entre 1893 y 1895 por la Compañía de Jesús, que fue expulsada de Alemania debido a la Kulturkampf. El arquitecto fue H.J. Hürth. Aquí se estableció el Colegio Ignacio para los jesuitas alemanes. En 1911 se añadió un ala y una biblioteca. Se formó un imponente complejo en forma de E con una capilla neogótica central y un campanario. Los jesuitas reunieron muchos libros valiosos y publicaron los Comentarios sobre las Sagradas Escrituras.
