L'ex ex-convento dei gesuiti è un complesso monastico situato in Kloosterweg 34-36 a Valkenburg, insieme al Convento di San Giuseppe costruito nel 1984. Il convento fu costruito tra il 1893 e il 1895 dalla Società di Gesù, che era stata espulsa dalla Germania a causa della Kulturkampf. L'architetto fu H.J. Hürth. Qui si stabilì il Collegio Ignazio per i gesuiti tedeschi. Nel 1911 fu aggiunta un'ala e una biblioteca. Ne derivò un'imponente complesso a forma di E con al centro una cappella neogotica con torre campanaria. I gesuiti raccolsero molti libri preziosi e pubblicarono i Commentari sulla sacra Scrittura.
