La Lopikerwaard es un conjunto de polders, mayormente ubicado en la provincia neerlandesa de Utrecht. La zona de polders está encerrada entre el Hollandse IJssel al norte y noreste, el Lek al sur y el Vlist al oeste. El Vlist separa la Lopikerwaard de la Krimpenerwaard. El Benschopperwetering/Polsbroeker Voorwetering y el Kromme IJssel/Enge IJssel/Lopikerwetering corren groseramente de este a oeste a través del área. El área corresponde en gran parte con el municipio de Lopik.
La Lopikerwaard consta de grandes áreas abiertas de prados, bosquecillos y murallas de madera. La Lopikerwaard era originalmente un área pantanosa. A partir del siglo XI se inició el desmonte del área. Para ello, se cavaron canales y zanjas. La explotación se llevó a cabo mediante una llamada división cope.
