El Dokkumer Ee es un canal en Frisia entre las ciudades de Leeuwarden y Dokkum. Cruza los municipios de Leeuwarden y Noardeast-Fryslân. El río es una importante vía de navegación en el norte de Frisia. Conecta Leeuwarden con el mar de Wadden a través del Lauwersmeer. El Dokkumer Ee también es parte de la "Elfstedentocht", un evento de patinaje de larga distancia.
