En la cima de la montaña de Wageningen se encuentra el antiguo estadio de fútbol de Wageningen. Originalmente, el terreno formaba parte de la finca Cortenbergh, pero tras la muerte de Crommelin, fue vendido por separado de la futura finca de Oranje Nassau’s Oord.
En 1898, el terreno se utilizó por primera vez como sede para el nuevo concurso hípico de Wageningen. Poco después, el campo deportivo se transformó en uno de los primeros campos de fútbol de los Países Bajos y el estadio construido recibió una gran valoración como un hito deportivo Wagenings. Aunque el FC Wageningen se declaró en quiebra en 1992, el estadio ha perdurado como patrimonio Wagenings.
