Auf dem Wageningse Berg liegt das alte Wageninger Fußballstadion. Ursprünglich gehörte das Gelände zum Landgut Cortenbergh, aber nach dem Tod von Crommelin wurde es getrennt verkauft vom späteren Landgut Oranje Nassau’s Oord.
Im Jahr 1898 wurde das Gelände zunächst als Standort für das neue Wageninger Springturnier genutzt. Kurz darauf verwandelte sich das Sportfeld in eines der ersten niederländischen Fußballfelder und das mittlerweile errichtete Stadion wurde als sportliches Wahrzeichen von Wageningen hoch geschätzt. Obwohl der FC Wageningen 1992 Insolvenz anmeldete, ist das Stadion als Wageninger Erbe bestehen geblieben.
