Comienza la ruta desde Midden-Twente (Hengelo) hacia Noord-Twente y un pequeño territorio alemán, un excelente comienzo para recorrer esta ruta es desde el Hotel v.d. Valk en Hengelo/Borne, situado en la autopista A1. Desde Almelo-Mariaparochie, la ruta se dirige hacia Langeveen en Alemania y finalmente regresas a Ootmarsum (NL) pasando por Neuenhaus, Lage. La ruta pasa mayormente por áreas rurales y pasa por encantadores lugares para detenerse un momento para un almuerzo o café con pastel de manzana. Especialmente Ootmarsum es conocido por sus acogteras terrazas, pero también por la cultura!
