La Mancomunidad de Polonia-Lituania , conocida en su época como la República o Mancomunidad de las Dos Naciones , a partir del siglo XVIII también llamada oficialmente República de Polonia o Primera República Polaca, , fue una monarquía aristocrática federal formada en 1569 por el Reino de Polonia y el Gran Ducado de Lituania mediante la Unión de Lublin, y existió hasta las sucesivas Particiones de Polonia en 1772, 1793 y 1795. El Estado no cubría solo los actuales territorios de Lituania y Polonia , sino también el territorio de Bielorrusia, gran parte de Ucrania, Letonia, Estonia, así como el óblast de Kaliningrado y partes de los óblast de Smolensk y Briansk en Rusia.
