Het Pools-Litouwse Gemenebest, formeel bekend als het Koninkrijk Polen en het Grootvorstendom Litouwen, en, na 1791, als het Gemenebest van Polen, was een land en een federatie van Polen en Litouwen, geregeerd door een gemeenschappelijke monarch in werkelijke unie, die zowel koning van Polen als grootvorst van Litouwen was. Het was een van de grootste en meest bevolkte landen in Europa in de 16e tot 17e eeuw. Op zijn grootste territoriale omvang, in het vroege 17e eeuw, besloeg het Gemenebest bijna 1.000.000 km² en had het in 1618 een multi-etnische bevolking van bijna 12 miljoen. Pools en Latijn waren de twee co-officiële talen.
