Este pequeño faro se encuentra dentro de las murallas del Castillo de Santiago da Barra , frente a la zona portuaria en la desembocadura del río Lima.
Se trata de una torre cilíndrica de color rojo, de 6 metros de altura , con pilares blancos, linterna y balcón de servicio. Fue construida en 1878 y todavía se utiliza para dar soporte al transporte marítimo.
Característica de la luz: 2 s encendida, 2 s apagada.
