Questo piccolo faro si trova all'interno delle mura del castello di Santiago da Barra , di fronte alla zona portuale, alla foce del fiume Lima.

Si tratta di una torre rossa cilindrica, alta 6 metri , con pilastri bianchi, lanterna e balcone di servizio. Fu costruita nel 1878 e viene ancora utilizzata per supportare la spedizione.
