Deze kleine vuurtoren staat binnen de vestingmuren van het kasteel van Santiago da Barra, tegenover het havengebied aan de monding van de rivier de Lima.
Het is een cilindervormige rode toren, 6 meter hoog, met een witte pilaren, lantaarn en dienstbalkon. Hij werd gebouwd in 1878 en wordt nog steeds gebruikt om de scheepvaart te ondersteunen.
