Ce petit phare se dresse dans les remparts du château de Santiago da Barra , en face de la zone portuaire à l'embouchure de la rivière Lima.
Il s'agit d'une tour cylindrique rouge de 6 mètres de haut , avec des piliers blancs, une lanterne et un balcon de service. Elle a été construite en 1878 et sert encore aujourd'hui de support à la navigation.
Caractéristique lumineuse : 2 s allumé, 2 s éteint.
