La batalla del Sava se libró el año 388 entre las fuerzas del usurpador romano Magno Máximo y el Imperio Romano Oriental.[1] El emperador Teodosio I derrotó al ejército de Magno Máximo en la batalla. Más tarde Máximo fue capturado y ejecutado en Aquilea.
