20 Exchange Place es un rascacielos art déco de 59 plantas en Nueva York. Antiguamente conocido como el City Bank-Farmers Trust Building, fue construido entre 1930 y 1931, para los recientemente fusionados National City Bank of New York y Farmers' Loan and Trust Company, empresas predecesoras de Citigroup. Se mantuvo como la sede de la compañía hasta 1956 y fue vendido finalmente en 1979.
El edificio fue diseñado por la firma arquitectónica de Cross and Cross. Aunque Cross and Cross describieron que eate no tenía un estilo arquitectónico particular, se describió en su momento como "clásico moderno", con ornamentación art déco mínima. Diseñado originalmente en 1929 para ser el edificio más alto del mundo con 258 m, con una coronación piramidal y un presupuesto de 9 500 000 dólares,[1] la realidad de la Gran Depresión resultó en un edificio reducido de 226 m, cuarto edificio más alto de Nueva York en el momento. Se mantuvo entre los diez más altos de Nueva York hasta 1970. En la actualidad está todavía entre los edificios más prominentes en el skyline de la ciudad.
