Minneapolis-Saint Paul, oficialmente Área Estadística Metropolitana de Minneapolis-St. Paul-Bloomington, MN-WI, MSA según la denominación utilizada por la Oficina del Censo de los Estados Unidos; es el área metropolitana más grande del estado de Minnesota, Estados Unidos, y está compuesta por 186 ciudades y municipios.[7]Construida a lo largo de los ríos Misisipi, Minnesota y St. Croix, el área metropolitana es a menudo llamada ciudades gemelas o Twin Cities por sus dos grandes ciudades, Minneapolis y Saint Paul, siendo la última la capital estatal.
Cuenta con una población de 3.279.833 habitantes[2] según el censo de 2010, y con una superficie de 16.483 km².
