Reed College es una universidad privada de artes liberales en al sureste Portland en el estado de EE.UU. de Oregón. Fundada en 1908, Reed es una universidad residencial con un campus en el barrio de Eastmoreland, caracterizado por una arquitectura basada en el estilo Tudor-gótico, y por un bosque-cañón como reserva natural en el centro del campus.[1]
Reed es conocida por su programa de humanidades obligatorio de primer año, la tesis de cuarto año, y la proporción inusualmente alta de licenciados que acaban realizando doctorados y otros títulos de posgrado. La universidad produce una gran cantidad de prominentes exalumnos, incluyendo más de 90 becarios Fulbright, 67 becarios Watson, 3 becarios MacArthur, y 32 becarios Rhodes—el segundo número más alto de cualquier universidad de artes liberal del mundo.[2][3][4]
