Untertilliach est une commune de 220 habitants dans le district de Lienz du land du Tyrol en Autriche. La commune d'Untertilliach est située à l'extrême sud-est du district de Lienz à la frontière avec la Carinthie et l'Italie. Elle comprend des parties de la vallée de Lesachtal. Les établissements d'Untertilliach se trouvent principalement dans la vallée de la Gail entre les Dolomites de Lienz et les Alpes carniques. La superficie de la commune est de 36,34 km², ce qui en fait la dix-septième plus grande des 33 communes du Tyrol oriental.
