Les Cantons de l'Est, parfois aussi Belgique de l'Est ou Eupen-Malmedy, sont les cantons d'Eupen (dont Kelmis = Neutral Moresnet), Malmedy et Sankt Vith, qui sont situés à l'est de la province belge de Liège et qui bordent l'Allemagne, dont La Première Guerre mondiale, suite au traité de Versailles, a été prise en charge par l'État belge. Linguistiquement et culturellement, ils forment une zone de transition entre la Belgique et l'Allemagne et sont sous une gouvernance très variable depuis 1815.
