Le Liermolen est l'un des quatre moulins à eau situés le long de la Maalbeek dans la commune flamande de Grimbergen. Les bâtiments de ce moulin à grain datent en partie du 17ème siècle et ont été rénovés en 1759 et 1762. Le Liermolen est un ancien moulin de l'abbaye, construit en brique et en pierre calcaire blanche. Il a été habité jusqu'à la fin de 1971 et a été restauré à la fin des années 1970. Depuis 1980, il abrite le département de mouture du Musée des Techniques Anciennes (MOT). Le moulin à eau en état de marche possède un intérieur intact et est maintenu en fonctionnement pour des démonstrations de mouture.
Le Liermolen est nommé d'après les seigneurs de Lire, qui ont vendu leur moulin à eau à l'abbaye en 1341.
