À propos de l'artiste
Vit et travaille à Vienne. Il y a étudié à l'Académie des Beaux-Arts. Depuis 1970, il expose sans interruption à travers le monde, notamment dans le précurseur du SMAK de Gand en 1987, 1989 et 1995, au Palais des Beaux-Arts de Bruxelles (1998), à Bruges (Galerie Bruges la Morte, 1990 et 1993), à Middelheim (1998), à l'Hôtel Empain à Bruxelles (1999), et plusieurs fois à Documenta Kassel. Il sculpte (ou façonne) de l'abstrait au figuratif, et tout ce qui se situe entre les deux, dans divers matériaux, y compris le papier mâché. En plus des catalogues, plusieurs centaines de critiques ont été publiées sur son travail.
