« Ploegsteert » est aussi le titre d’un album et d’une chanson de « Het Zesde Metaal ». Il fait référence au village du même nom dans le Hainaut . La chanson « Ploegsteert » parle du regretté Frank Vandenbroucke, prodige et cycliste. Le 16 février 2012, l’album a été présenté à l’AB et a ensuite reçu un disque d’or. En 2018, il est devenu numéro deux sur la liste des Pays-Bas. Ploegsteert est le dernier lieu de repos du cycliste Frank Vandenbroucke.
