"Ploegsteert" er også titlen på et album og et nummer af "Het Zesde Metaal". Det henviser til den ligeså kaldte Henegouwske landsby. Nummeret "Ploegsteert" handler om afdøde Frank Vandenbroucke, vidunderbarn og cykelrytter. Den 16. februar 2012 blev albummet præsenteret i AB og blev senere tildelt en guldplade. I 2018 blev nummeret nummer to på Lage Landenlisten. Ploegsteert er den sidste hvileplads for cykelrytter Frank Vandenbroucke.
