Sur le côté sud de la Grand-Place, vous voyez l'hôtel de ville. La plus ancienne partie, datant de la période de 1769 à 1771, a été conçue par l'architecte Hendrik Bultinck de Bruges dans le style Louis XV. Le charmant petit clocher a été conçu par le Roeselaarnais Jacob Caytan. Sur le fronton dans le pignon se trouve le blason du mécène Charles Théodore de Neubourg, seigneur de Roeselare. Le bâtiment a été gravement endommagé à la fin de la Première Guerre mondiale. Pour résoudre le problème du manque d'espace, l'architecte municipal René Doom a érigé le "nouvel hôtel de ville" entre 1924 et 1925, s'inspirant de l'ancienne halle de la ville.
