Avec le Knokmolen, le Hostensmolen façonne l'image de Ruiselede, souvent appelée le 'village des moulins'. Ce moulin en pierre à colombages, avec trois étages, a été construit en 1774 et est un monument protégé depuis 1949. Les ailes ont une portée de 24 mètres et tournent encore chaque premier dimanche du mois.
