Samen met de Knokmolen bepaalt de Hostensmolen het beeld van Ruiselede, dat wel eens het 'molendorp' wordt genoemd. Deze stenen stellingmolen met drie zolders werd opgetrokken in 1774 en is sinds 1949 een beschermd monument. De wieken hebben een vlucht van 24 meter en draaien nog elke eerste zondag van de maand.
