La forêt de Helleketel est une zone naturelle de 56 ha située dans la commune de Poperinge, dans le village d'Abele, en Flandre-Occidentale. C'est une zone Natura 2000.
Il s'agit d'une forêt mixte de feuillus gérée par l'Agence pour la Nature et les Forêts. Dans la forêt, on trouve la vallée du Bommelaarsbeek. On y trouve également des bosquets de taillis. Le Bohemerbos est une partie de la lisière de la forêt où, jusqu'aux années 1950, des gens du voyage campaient, aidant à la récolte du houblon cultivé en grande quantité dans cette région. Une autre particularité culturelle et historique est le petit bâtiment à colombages, vestige de la grande ferme à colombages Het Groot Gasthuisgoed.
