Saviez-vous qu'en 1675 les troupes hollandaises combattant les Français ont volé la cloche de l'église de Sint-Laureins-Berchem. Elle a ensuite été retrouvée et renvoyée. Mais cela n'a pas duré longtemps car 3 ans plus tard les Français ont à nouveau commis le vol. Et puis l’horloge a disparu pour de bon.
