Wist je dat in 1675 de Hollandse troepen die tegen de Fransen vochten, de klok uit de kerk van Sint-Laureins-Berchem gestolen hebben. Ze werd later teruggevonden en teruggegeven. Maar dat duurde niet lang want 3 jaar later deden de Fransen die diefstal nog eens over. En toen was de klok weg voor goed.
