L’actuelle construction néo-romane date de la seconde moitié du XIXe siècle et remplace une ancienne chapelle. Elle se caractérise par un jeu de volume propre à l'architecture mosane des XIe et XIIe siècles.
A l’extérieur, un vieux cimetière entoure l’église.
A l’intérieur, on remarquera le plafond en bois peint au pochoir. L’église récemment repeinte donne une impression de fraîcheur. Les statues et le chemin de croix qui avaient été enlevés dans les années 1960 ont retrouvé place dans l’édifice.
