L'abbaye Saint-Laurent de Liège était un monastère bénédictin fondé en 1026 dans un quartier qui prendra le nom de quartier Saint-Laurent, à Liège, en Belgique. Dès le début, l'abbaye se distingua par sa contribution aux arts. Au milieu du XIe siècle, on compte des moines mathématiciens, hagiographes, computistes, poètes, compositeurs, etc. L'abbaye a subi des dégâts considérables à partir de 1212, lors de 13 ans de combats entre les milices liégeoises et le duc de Brabant.
