Het Leen est un domaine provincial. On peut y percevoir différentes odeurs. Demandez aux participants quelles odeurs leur viennent à l'esprit.

Dans Het Leen, il y a 36 km de sentiers de randonnée. 18 km sont pavés. De plus, Het Leen dispose de la même quantité de routes non pavées qui deviennent boueuses lorsqu'il pleut. Elles ne peuvent pas être empruntées sans bottes ou similaires. Les allées en béton présentes sont idéales pour les utilisateurs de fauteuils roulants. En 1993, le Musée provincial de la forêt a été créé. Le Centre d'information forestière Het Leen et le Centre des classes forestières Hermeleen ont alors été ouverts. Il y a aussi un arboretum à Het Leen. L'arboretum contient plus de 7000 espèces de plantes ligneuses et de plantes vivaces. L'arboretum est accessible tous les jours.
