Terrain de champ de courses partiellement clos avec grande pelouse et plus petite piste de trot (1971), délimité par la rue Sport et la rue Eduard Decuyper à l'est, l'avenue Reine Astrid au nord, la rue North à l'ouest et la route de Nieuwpoort au sud où se trouve également depuis environ 1852 le cimetière urbain dit "'t Oud Kerkhof" qui forme ici une enclave rectangulaire. Ensemble de bâtiments protégé comme monument, hippodrome y compris les pistes d'entraînement protégé comme paysage urbain, les deux par l'Arrêté Royal du 1/10/1998.
