Merci de prétendument "Remondshof" construit vers 1840 sur l'ancien site du soi-disant "Goed te Brakel", l'un des très vieux établissements en bordure de la Westmoer. Site situé très en arrière près du Brakeleiken, nommé d'après la cour, qui avait auparavant un embarcadère et des allées vers la Weststraat. Le premier propriétaire était Wouter van Brakel (1331). Selon un manuel de 1639, déjà sans logement et sur des cartes du 18ème siècle, il ne reste qu'un fossé carré. Les bâtiments actuels de la ferme ne présentent pas de caractéristiques notables.
