Érigée en 1948 d'après les plans de R. De Bruyn (voir inscription sur le socle en ardoise) en mémoire des prisonniers politiques de Lierre. Chapelle en briques sur un plan rectangulaire sous un toit à pignon tronqué et en saillie avec une croix en fer. Ouvertures murales en arc. Façade arrière avec pilastres d'angle et essences de mur ; pierre de façade avec l'année 1948. Intérieur sobre avec une statue en bois de Sainte Rita par F. Rooms (aujourd'hui disparue).
