Maison de campagne éclectique avec un ancien bâtiment de remise profondément rénové, surnommé ‘château Forêt Perdue’ et actuellement utilisé comme centre de tourisme pour la jeunesse, construit vers 1899-1900 selon les plans de l'architecte gantois Emile Van Hoecke-Peeters à la demande de l'industriel Gonzales Gabriel Cock. La maison est un exemple typique de grandes villas construites par des industriels à la fin du 19e et au début du 20e siècle à la lisière verte d'une ville. La maison se trouve dans le paysage protégé de Buylaers-Verloren Bos (Arrêté ministériel du 11 mai 1992).
