La zone naturelle ‘De Snepkensvijver’ gérée par Natuurpunt est une cuvette de dunes érodée par le vent et se compose d’une étendue d’eau centrale entourée de marais avec des fourrés de gagel et de sols sableux plus secs.
Avec un peu de chance, vous pourrez croiser entre les arbres une grenouille brune ou une grenouille des champs. Des informations sur la grenouille des champs sont disponibles sur les panneaux d'information à l'entrée de la zone naturelle De Snepkensvijver.
