Dans le complexe aquatique et de sauna Sportoase Veldstraat, se trouve une magnifique piscine de 33 mètres où il fait bon nager des longueurs ! Cette piscine est la plus ancienne encore existante d'Anvers (1933) et a été restaurée en 2006 dans sa gloire d'antan. L'architecture est un mélange de modernisme et d'art déco. Par l'entrée de la rue Alfonds Engels, vous pouvez choisir de visiter le bâtiment des bains ou le hammam (18+, vêtements de bain obligatoires, 13 €). Si vous le demandez gentiment, vous pourrez peut-être jeter un coup d'œil sur la piscine depuis le balcon. À l'arrière du bâtiment (rue Visé) se trouve "L'Ancien bain", maintenant un centre culturel de quartier, autrefois un endroit où les habitants n'ayant pas de douche ou de baignoire chez eux pouvaient venir pour un lavage hebdomadaire.
