Nel complesso di piscine e bagni di vapore Sportoase Veldstraat si trova una bellissima piscina di 33 metri dove è piacevole nuotare! Questa piscina è la più antica piscina esistente di Anversa (1933) ed è stata restaurata nel 2006 nella sua vecchia gloria. L'architettura è una fusione di modernismo e art déco. Attraverso l'ingresso di Alfons Engelsstraat puoi scegliere di visitare la casa dei bagni o il hamam (18+, costume da bagno obbligatorio, € 13). Se lo chiedi gentilmente qui, puoi forse dare un'occhiata alla piscina dal balcone. Sul retro dell'edificio (Viséstraat) si trova "Il Vecchio bagno", ora un centro culturale di quartiere, in passato un luogo dove le persone del vicinato che non avevano una doccia o una vasca da bagno a casa potevano recarsi per una pulizia settimanale.
