Ici, Notre-Dame était adorée contre le « saignement ». Autrefois, une chapelle en bois se tenait dans la forêt qui a été défrichée par Van Kempen. Lors du défrichement de la forêt, cette chapelle a été déplacée et élevée en pierre. La préservation de la chapelle a été faite à la demande de la sœur de Van Kempen, qui était très pieuse. Elle a également offert l'autel principal et le baptistère de l'église paroissiale.
