Cette aire de pique-nique est située au bord de l'étang dans le Sint-Pietersveld près de la fosse dite du navire où les marins ont été formés il y a un siècle.

Un beau morceau de nature. Il y a un siècle, les marins s'entraînaient dans cet étang. Un navire, au milieu de l'eau, servait de terrain d'entraînement. Récemment, De Scheepsput a été entièrement meublé avec une nature de jeu aventureuse. Un paradis pour les enfants.
