La forêt de Soignes est un écosystème complexe au niveau du paysage. À cet endroit, les prairies humides et les étangs constituent un « micro-écosystème », avec de nombreuses espèces différentes : au printemps, vous entendrez le chant des grenouilles et verrez un grand nombre d'insectes, car il s'agit d'un espace ouvert avec beaucoup de lumière.
