Hambourg-Volksdorf est un quartier situé au nord-est de la ville libre et hanséatique de Hambourg. Il fait partie du district de Wandsbek. Son nom dérive de Volcwardesdorpe et trouve son origine dans le nom du fondateur du village, Volkward.
Volksdorf est limitrophe à l'est, au nord et au nord-est avec le Schleswig-Holstein. La plus grande ville de cette région est Ahrensburg. À l'ouest, Volksdorf est adjacent à Bergstedt, à l'ouest au quartier de Sasel et au sud-ouest au quartier de Farmsen-Berne. Délimité par la forêt de Volksdorf avec le Mellenberg comme point culminant du district, Meiendorf, un hameau du quartier de Rahlstedt, se trouve au sud.
