L’église paroissiale catholique de Saint-Maurice est située dans le centre de la ville de Nordkirchen, dans le Münsterland.
L’église a été construite en 1715 par Gottfried Laurenz Pictorius en tant qu’église-halle baroque. Il a un chœur encastré avec une extrémité polygonale. À l’extérieur, le bâtiment est divisé par des fenêtres en arc segmentaire et des contreforts. La tour intégrée domine le village avec son dôme d’ardoise et sa lanterne. Les briques rouge foncé de la tour contrastent de manière frappante avec la nef en plâtre blanc. La tour est clairement articulée par des paliers intermédiaires et ornée d’arcs blancs superposés.
