De katholieke parochiekerk St. Mauritius staat in het centrum van het Münsterlanddorp Nordkirchen.
De kerk werd vanaf 1715 door Gottfried Laurenz Pictorius gebouwd als een barokke hallenkerk. Ze heeft een ingetrokken koor met een veelhoekige afsluiting. Aan de buitenkant is het gebouw voorzien van segmentboogvensters en steunberen. De ingebouwde toren steekt uit met zijn leien daks met een daarop geplaatste lantaarn boven het dorp uit. De donkerrode bakstenen van de toren contrasteren opvallend met het wit gepleisterde kerkgebouw. De toren is duidelijk gevarieerd door middel van tussenafsnijdingen en versierd met opgelegde witte bogen.
