Le château de Lauenstein est un ancien château fort qui est aujourd'hui une ruine. Il se situe au-dessus du quartier de Lauenstein à Salzhemmendorf, en Basse-Saxe. Le château a été construit au 13ème siècle par les nobles de Homburg. À partir du 16ème siècle, il a perdu son importance militaire et a été démoli au début du 19ème siècle en raison de la dégradation croissante.
