Le cimetière de l'Est est un cimetière communautaire inauguré le 1er juillet 1800 pour les communautés juives, catholiques, luthériennes et réformées à Hamm.
Au cimetière de l'Est de Hamm, un certain nombre de monuments funéraires du début du 19e siècle ont été conservés, parmi lesquels la pierre tombale de la famille von Rademacher et la plaque tombale du Major von Rabenau. Il convient également de souligner les lieux de sépulture de nombreux citoyens d'honneur de Hamm. Un catalogue illustré fournit des informations sur les monuments funéraires de la partie juive. Devant l'entrée principale de l'Ostenallee se trouve le monument du président de la Cour d'Appel Adalbert Falk.
