Dans la nuit du 1er juillet 2002, le Tupolev Tu-154 du vol Bashkirian Airlines 2937 et le Boeing 757 cargo du vol DHL 611 entrent en collision au-dessus de l'Allemagne, près d'Überlingen et du lac de Constance, tuant les 71 personnes à bord des deux appareils, dont 69 passagers et membres d'équipage à bord du Tupolev et les deux membres d'équipage du Boeing de l'entreprise de transport DHL.
