Le château de Cloppenburg est un château médiéval abandonné du comté de Tecklenburg, situé dans le centre-ville de Cloppenburg, dans le district de Cloppenburg, en Basse-Saxe, juste au sud de la Soeste.
Le Cloppenburg devait servir aux comtes de Tecklenburg pour sécuriser leur domaine au nord. Au début du XIIIe siècle, un manoir protégé par un fossé a été construit à proximité immédiate de la colonie de Krapendorf, dans la vallée de la Soeste, à Hemesburen. Avant 1297, celui-ci a été remplacé par un château d'eau, mentionné pour la première fois lors d'un échange de terrain le 5 janvier 1297.
